Take a look at allposters.com. They have a great selection. You can have them frame it or frame it yourself.

Since my house is from 1935, I got a 1930s print of Good Housekeeping for my kitchen and framed it myself.

Well, art is so subjective. What do you like? One look that I like is a collection of plates - different china. If you google "wall of plates", you'll see loads of examples. When we were cleaning out my parents' house after my father died, I wished that one of us could have taken all those gorgeous china plates (many of them unique) and used them on a wall. I didn't have some space, but it's a fun look. One of my favourite bakeries in Toronto has a wall of plates in both their locations. I think it looks really nice on a dark wall. Love the plates, but I think it's too busy for my kitchen.

As said, art is subjective. I love botanicals - what do you like? As you know there's millions of pieces of artwork to choose, you have many themes to choose from.

Oversized photo of grapes or kiwi as a mural would be interesting and modern.

A kiwi popped in my mind, because there there are black seeds that would echo the black countertops.

This is another picture of the tile. The color is gray green blue. Not really sure the color, but love it. Does the wall need to reflect some of this color? I have greens in the rest of the house. I do love color in any art work, but not sure I should make it pop with color or keep it in the same colors?

I Should include the width of the wall is 7 feet long.

I did spend a lot time looking at wall paper also. But was not sure how to match the tile.

Do you have any artwork in your home that you can bring into the kitchen. You'd prop it on a chair facing the wall. This should help give a better feel for the color that you would feel comfortable with in this space.

Elizf, the wallpaper does not have to match your tile. It just has to go with it, just like artwork. Good luck!

Do you think that wall paper would be better then a big picture? The wall is part of a hallway.

For a large kitchen wall I love vintage food or wine posters--framed.

You could also add a huge framed chalk board.

Chalkboard paint was also my vote.

A chalkboard would not work. I'm a teacher, and don't want to be reminded
of school. I'm looking at posters, mostly
fruit and flowers.

if it was my kitchen id do wall paper with open shelves. but it may look wider of a walkway than it really is.

Try not to go too cliche with the fruit/flowers. Something unexpected might be more interesting and unusual.

Your art will also look more finished if it's framed.

Love Pam Q's original paintings. So light and bright--not in the garish neon look you often see.

they make large scale photographs (wall paper) I suggest some thing black and white

You might try a place like GreatBigCanvas.com -- you can select for horizontal and then try to find some works that contain the color of your tile in a style that you like. I'd like one large (huge) horizontal piece -- remember that mat and frame contribute to the size -- or maybe two medium ones in either orientation. But hard to guess your style, let alone judge that color from my monitor...
