Need help with placement of recessed lights

So here is the lighting plan for my great room. The family room lights and half of the nook lights are new. Unfortunately the housings were already placed. But I am thinking I may need to talk to my GC about changing it and just eating the extra cost. The 4 lights in the nook do not line up with the kitchen lights - should we reduce them to 3? And should the family room lights be in the corners of the square and lined up with the kitchen lights?

Also, the lights over the island (which were existing can lights) are not centered over the island (always drive me a little crazy) - because they are centered in the plans, does that mean the electrician was supposed to move them to be centered?

Ok, yes, they should be centered over island!!! Lazy electrician. They have pancake boxes if center fall on beam.

Not sure if this has an impact on optimal placement, but the TV will be mounted to the wall between the family room and nook. There is a small dining table under the nook lights. There will be built in bookshelves next to the fireplace.

So should I (1) have the kitchen lights moved to be evenly spaced, (2) reduce the nook lights to 3 cans and have them line up with the kitchen lights and (3) have the family room lights in a square formation and also lined up with the kitchen? Or do (1) and (2) only?

All the ceiling holes have been cut and housings inserted, so it will cost me to do this ☹️. But better to get it done correctly now
