East coast antiquing trip

Hi All,
I live in California and am therefore quite deprived of the antique scene that the east coast enjoys. I'm planning a trip east this summer, and wanted to get your opinion as to the bests states and/or cities for architectural antiques such as fireplace mantles, doors and stained glass windows as well as furniture. Suggestions? Thanks!

For architectural salvage type items, doors, windows, mantles etc, I recommend The Wooden Nickel in Cincinnati Ohio,

For antiques I recommend hitting Bouckville, NY. There's a huge permanent array of antique shops there, but in August it's a wild week with acres of vendors.

Blue Heron in Virginia heading down from Maryland is amazing. If you make it down to the Hampton roads area of Virginia, Barrett in Virginia Beach is nice but can be expensive. Depending on when you come out, North Carolina hosts the Liberty Antique Festival twice a year but it's in a field so you might want to rent a truck and take cash.
