Need help with furniture orientation

Hi Everyone,

We have moved into a new house and we'd like some help determining the best way to put our living/dining room together before putting up art work. The furniture worked well in our condo but now it seems out of place (I think our carpet shrunk). In the pictures is our current sofa but we have purchased a L-Shaped sectional in which the L is reversible. Also, to consider is that we will replace the existing door/patio door with one large window wall that will open left to right. These doors lead to the backyard as the kitchen is in the front of the house. I was considering putting the dining table by the doors but I'm so unsure at this point...I need help!!!

    Mount the TV on the wall facing towards your patio ( in the space where you currently have your dining set )
    FLOAT your couch facing the TV and center your coffee table between the two, giving you plenty of space to walk around everything. Place that side board that you have your TV on behind the couch, facing the patio direction, and put your dining space in front of the windows. That side board is multi -functional as you can place a small lamp on it, or items you can reach for behind the couch ( like a sofa table purpose, right?)
    This will divide the space without cutting everything off from itself...float the chair in the space to the right of the couch.
    Your are then able to hang art on ANY of those walls. Pick a statement Pendant light for over the dining table. Post pics & Good Luck!
