I Love the natural rug. Just worried about the chairs catching. The table is 36x90

Since 90 inches is 7.5 feet you definitely want an at least 8 feet on one side. Look for a 6x8 rug, minimum, although an 8x10 will give you plenty of room for moving the chairs without catching.

What do you think of a lovely oriental rug like this one? I think the beige colors will brighten your room tremendously.

8 x 10 is perfect. If you like Bev’s suggestion, I would worry about the chair legs damaging it. I always put the stick-on felt pads on every piece of furniture, anyway.
