What a cute house! I really like the siding and brick colors, but I do not care for that blue/gray trim. I would change that to something a couple shades darker than the current siding color. Then add a pretty handrail to the porch and get some landscaping. Your house will look fabulous!

The blue gray does not go whatsoever. that's a very cool shade. you need a warm shade.

A nice Butternut Squash color on the door would work. pick a warmer, darker trim color.

this one is nice. the cinnamon or the oak color for the trim would work nicely. Or do the oak for the trim, the pale yellow/beige for siding, and the pennywise for your door color

Iron ore, or something warm (the top color trio, below)

The middle two color palettes would also work:

I like your house. Happy colors!!! In a world of gray copycat monotonous houses, you have a happy house! Lucky you. Lose the gray. A dark bronze/brown would match the brick better. Keep your bricks in their existing color. They are special.

That's helpful thank you Beth. Those last Benjamin moores might work. I so wish I could paint the whole house navy with white trim but I think it would just look terrible with the color of my brick.

you may be able to do a navy door, or even a dark navy trim. would have to be the right shade.

you could also try white washing the brick to tone things down if you really dislike it.

It's your house, if you want to paint the brick, go ahead. However, I think the brick adds interest. Here are somethings I might do if it was my house.

First, I would paint the corner trim the same color as the house siding. Having it an accent color makes the house look cut up and it seems your house is on a small lot, it is too busy.

I would treat window trim and the rest of the trim differently. I would use the darkest color in the brick for fascia and door trim. I would do windows in a dull white. Since you like blue I gave you a blue door.

A lot of HOAs are not permitting brick to be painted. It really defeats the purpose of "no maintenance" as it has to be repainted as often as siding. In some areas, such as coastal or tropical climates, moisture is pulled up around the bottom part of the house and causes the paint to peal and flake. And mildew. Just keep in mind that painting siding and trim will cost half what it would take to paint siding, trim and brick in the future.

It is a cute house, and you have some great suggestions on changing the trim color. I think the white windows jump out at you and a trim closer to the brick color would look nice.

I really like the brick. I agree that it's the trim that needs to be changed and I also like the idea of painting it the same color as the siding. My house is painted that way and I really like the look. It's very casual looking.
