You are very wise to check into this. Although the bulb is working it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s safe.

My advice would be to contact your pool maintenance company and ask them to have their electrician (or refer you to one they are confident with) and have the fixture checked over. It’s a small price to pay for peace-of-mind. The old adage water and electricity doesn’t mix is absolutely true in a pool situation.

I agree very much with Terry on this. We lose a person or two each year in the US due to faults in pool lighting wiring. This is not something you want to play around with. Get an electrician that has experience with pools.
