Something bright. Either red or fuschia. Something with contrast that's bold. Your home is gorgeous BTW.

How about a bright yellow door?

I agree with Beth that the door would look much better if it were larger and centered. As far as color, I think a muted orange would be warm and welcoming and would contrast nicely with the dark blue.

Clarification: The door shown allows us to lock up at night during construction. The future permanent door will be 65"wide x 99"tall and will be centered under the arch.

I'd do a painted door--probably red. I love red doors!

Thanks for the clarification I would choose a red too but it will be hard to choose one that keeps the whole facde from looking like a flag. IMO a wood door might be a nice addition instead of painted.

I would paint the door red. Not fire-engine red, more like a cherry red.

Either would look good, but I’m a little tired of seeing red doors so if doing a color I’d choose something else. Personally, I would do a wood door, you already have a lot of painted wood in the trim....

A nice bright color would really make the entryway pop! Have you considered adding a door glass insert to your door? There are hundreds of options available for steel and fiberglass doors -- yours looks like a great candidate! This is 100% subjective! Every single person who comments could have a different opinion and *all* would be correct. It's a navy blue house with white trim, there is no choice you could make that would clash. Beth showed you EIGHT completely different styles and they all look great!
