Closing it is easy. You push the right side of the door until it closes. I suspect the people in this house do not leave/enter the house through the front door, so no need for hardware on the front. Alternatively, there could be a remote key entry installed which will flip dead bolts into the frame by remote control.

Yup how do you close and secure the door. i would suggest designing a long handle that's appropriate to color and symmetry of the door and also a deadbolt to complete the door.
