The chairs seem that they would work well together. Is there legroom at the ends of the table?

Too much wood either keep the grey ones and do 2 head and host tall in white or something other than all wood OR keep the wood as head and host and do some farm house iron or white/grey linen as the side chairs. Hope that helps! - Anna

I like both styles, but I don't think they work together. I find the height differences disconcerting :)

As others mentioned, there isn't room for end chairs (unless this table has some type of pull out/flip out leaf?)

With this table I'd personally be inclined to use the gray chairs you've selected.

I love both chairs but agree that the heights of the backs are disconcerting when near each other.......

If you use one for the ends of the table and the other for the sides, then, yes, they'll work together. If I were choosing one or the other, cost being approximately equal, pick the more comfortable. Just from looking at the two of them, the one with the padded seat and the lower padded back looks as if it would be the more comfortable -- especially if your family enjoys board games and/or jigsaw puzzles and/or will be sitting around the table for extended times for other reasons.

Suezbell, the straight and curved legs on the chairs fight visually and the heights are a real problem.

Thank you for all the advice. I’m thinking we are just gonna go with the gray chairs because they are comfy and continue to look for something else for the ends. This is one of the designers I saw use the table and chairs.

I've seen country kitchen/dining areas where none of the chairs match. What you use is purely a matter of taste. Personally, I wouldn't place these two, with different angled legs, side by side along the longer sides of the table and expect them to work well.

Cost and space (curved legs take up more room) not being an issue, my inclination would be to go with only the more comfortable of the two -- something you really cannot tell until you sit in them -- though the cushioned one does look more comfortable to me.

Alternately, with this somewhat rustic table, and depending upon your overall style preference -- you might consider using four short or two longer benches for the longer sides of the table -- something like these but with a wood finish that matches your table:

I've actually sat in the taller chair and it's not a comfortable chair for any extended period of time.
