My mini Kordana rose is a little something I got for myself at Whole Foods in January. For some reason as time goes by, this rose is shapeshifting! The picture in the cup is generally how far it would go when opened (I cut a little earlier to keep it longer in the glass). The bloom shape overall was circular and the petals would unfurl at the edges

Now this rose is going crazy! It's got spikey petals that don't unfurl, they just pop open!

I am worried though. Does the rising temperature have to do with it? I've transplanted it into a bigger pot, gave it some fertilizer, used up coffee grinds, and rice water. The coffee grinds and rice water I've only done about two times. I just hope nothing I'm doing is bad for the rose, the sudden difference is alarming. It has been getting some blackspot near the soil and I've sprayed maybe once. I have been holding back because I don't like spraying. Please let me know what you think! I am a new rose grower and any help would be appreciated!
