Hello!

Our addition includes a small - 8' x 10' - entry vestibule off a small side-entry porch. I'm having a lot of trouble with the layout -- particularly about the placement of a coat closet in such a small space.

Our designer put it directly across from the front door in an initial mock-up. I don't feel like it's very welcoming or gracious to walk smack into a closet when you enter a home, but maybe it works in some cases - I can't find any examples. I feel like the closet would be ideal on the left/exterior wall of the entry, but that's our only place for a window. We have a decent amount of flexibility with the layout of doors, windows, but not the size/footprint of the room.

Any suggestions on lay-out much appreciated!
