placidtruth4, this is an interesting use case, as the homeowners have used windows in an application that might traditionally utilize doors. We also offer doors that could achieve this look as well - the Marvin Contemporary Door would be a great fit.

This small balcony wasn't going to be utilized much so we chose to go with a window that opens like a door so that the wood sash surround wouldn't be a wide as a standard glass door....more glass that way.
