You can find Bt sold under the brand names Dipel and/or Thuricide (Bonide's name) if that helps. There are several other brand names as well but those are the most common ones I think. It is available at most all garden centers (even Walmart here).

Otherwise hand picking works best but do keep in mind that "fuzzy" guys are almost always butterfly and/or moth caterpillars so if actual damage is minimal you may want to let them be or just pick up and move them.

Dave

Garden Safe BT worm and caterpillar killer is sold at ACE and True Value hardware and Tractor supply around these parts.

I found a bottle of thuricide that I had forgotten about and gave them a dose.

Dave, I am aware that good thing come from the problem critter. I hadn't done a close-up inspection of the peas recently and thought that what I was seeing from a distance were tendrils. When I went in to pick I discovered the damage.

Hopefully the problem is now solved. Thanks to all for your responses.
