So sorry about the fire but I’m glad you’re able to work on a beautiful new kitchen. Your granite is the star. I think the backsplash competes with the granite and is too busy. Hopefully someone who actually has fantasy brown will show what they’ve used.

That's a gorgeous slab. Why not use it for the backsplash too. Simple and elegant.

We agree with Laura or Stacy. Try using something simple. The backsplash you posted is a little too much to go with the slab you chose.

Your granite is lovely. Your floors and granite will be strong elements, I would pick a quiet backsplash. If you don't want a plain splash, look at crackle or fireclay tile with matching grout. They have some texture and variation but they don't have a strong pattern.

I love the idea to wait until everything is in. Your choices are neutral but neutrals can clash. It will be best to look at samples next to your installed cabinets and granite in your light.

Agree that you want to let the granite be the focus, and choosing something in a monotone colour would help it shine. Doesn't mean it can't still be special, as tiles come in so many different finishes now.

I like it. try to find whatever grout matches the countertop. you want that color gray.

Lots of pattern/movement in the granite. Keep the backsplash simple so as not to compete.

Arabesques are nice, just be sure the pattern fits nicely in your backsplash area. I would want to be able to fit at least a few full rows before the cuts for the cabinets and counters.
