What is making the sidelights appear dark? Are they curtains or blinds? I think they are affecting the whole color scheme of the front door area. So I would consider lightening them as well, to a lighter neutral) (cream or white perhaps?). For the front door, I think the green would look a lot better, if you could change the sidelights curtains (if that is what they are) to white or cream.
