Wall scones placement

We can't have recessed light in our hall, so we are thinking about wall scones. However, we can't decide tbe best placement. Opinions appreciated!

Whatever you put there, I think the size is very important. That is a large space so something substantial would be needed like my the first pic above. Or you could add several fixtures one on top of the other like in my second pic above. I wonder if it might look better to place some of the lighting where you show it in your pic but also to the left of the left window ( to the right of the front door) since there is a large space there too. Once you decide on some options, you can tape up cardboard of the same size and move it around left, right, up, down to see which looks best. This looks challenging but can look fabulous so good luck!
