We have a zoo at my house. A dog, 7 cats, 10 chickens and 1 bunny!! They are all outdoors except the dog and now that it is getting cooler my son feels he needs to bring in the bunny (the one with the fur coat!!)

For 1 point what is your favorite flower? I don't really have a favorite flower any more. I love them all but when I was a little girl I did have a favorite flower. For 2 points what was the flower?

Daylilies are my favorite flower, yours was daffodils.

Amy, your favorite flower as a little girl was the Daisy. My favorite flower...hhhmm..that is a tough one as I have many favorites but I will say the Rose or the Calla Lily or Rudebeckias or Columbines or .........the list goes on and on.....LOL!.

* Three recipes with seeds from the recipe....1).Chunky Curried Kabocha Squash Dip (seeds Kabocha Squash and Cilantro)……2) Arugula and Blistered Tomato Crostini (seeds Arugula Rocket and Chadwick Cherry Tomato)…..3) Creamy Kale Dip (Dwarf Blue Curled Kale).

These recipes sound devine. I have never made anything even similar to Creamy Kale Dip or Kabocha Squash Dip, so anxious to try. I have a lot of Kale in the garden so I may just whip some of the Kale Dip tomorrow.....I love Arugula and Tomatoes so this I know will be a winner. Very curious about the Kabocha Squash!! Squash Dip....never would have thought of it!! I love trying recipes that I have not done before. And I love appetizer/grazing food....tiz my favorite!

My favorite flower when I was a child were tulips. When I was about two years old I would go around the yard smelling them and my Mom would take pictures. Susan I was born in Catonsville very close to Baltimore.

Amy, I'll watch for your package. My husband and I were in a bad wreck Monday evening so right now I am car-less. I'm assuming my car will be determined to be totaled. Fortunately it was hit more towards the engine block and only slightly into the area that was my door. (I was on the passenger side and the impact was there.) The airbags deployed and I was amazed that after such a bad wreck, we weren't seriously injured. I was very sore yesterday and had a very bad headache, but I'm coming along better today. It was the first really bad wreck either of us had ever been in so quite a shock emotionally, too!

As soon as I feel okay to drive, we'll likely rent a car so I should be able to get my package out on time. Will keep you posted.

Margo, I'll be keeping you and your family in my prayers. Such a difficult time for you.

A lot to be thankful for this time of year. Thanksgiving is such a special time, here's hoping everyone spends time with their loved ones. We will be traveling to Atlanta Saturday for my Sister-In-Laws funeral. Eddie lost his beloved Sister to cancer.

Im guessing seafood. That is mine also. I know that covers a lot.

Thinking of you as well, Shirley. Sorry to hear about your sister-in-law. Also, sending a long distance hug to Melinda. I'll definitely keep both of you in my prayers. It has been a rough time for many leading up to the holidays.

Now, for some pre-holiday cheer! My package from Amy arrived today. Thanks so much, Amy. It seems too dark to take a picture now so I'll do that tomorrow and share a list of the great things that you sent. I'm glad you let me know you will be out of town for awhile. I'll send later in the month. I'm hoping to get out to see about a rental car tomorrow. I'll see how I feel in the morning. Before now I really wan't interested in driving. I think I'm getting there.

I wanted to stop by and let you all know my dearest aunt lost her battle with cancer yesterday. She just retired a year ago and was 68. She was more like my sister and it has left a big hole in my heart. I will miss her so much.

With three losses in two months, it's a bit overwhelming.

We've been spending the holiday with all but one kid. There's 10 adults and the three grandchildren. We planned this many months ago and I'm so glad to have us all together at such a hard time. It's been keeping my mind off things a lot and it's just fun to have them all together.

She sent Blistex (which I was needing) a recipe for basic Cheese Balls that I am going to make today. a beautiful card and these seeds Leaf lettuce, bulb fennel, coriander, and sweet pepper.
