Hi! I was wondering if anyone knows a great way to finish a Mahogany porch floor. It is all under cover and will get some direct sunlight depending on the time of the day. I have heard it will fade to gray which is actually fine with me. We were originally going to paint it but now that we see it all in it's glory we think we may go au natural. I would like something that might tone down the red of it if possible, but maybe that is asling too much and would be impossible without staining it. So ... do we stain it? Oil it? We are almost done, well not us, the person working on it, and he wants to know how we want to finish it. I would like a finish that if we did decide to paint it down the road we could do that on top of whatever we do now. The photo at night doesn't really show how red it is.
