We are building our house and have a 2nd floor gym. The floors will be hardwood for both floors. We are planning on using foam insulation around this room (not just ceiling and exterior walls). My concern is the sound of the running on the treadmill, jumping rope, other gym related noises. We’ll put doe those rubber squares on top of the wood floors but is that enough? Anyone else have this set up who could provide feedback or suggestions?
