My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Love the aged looking pine ceiling. How did you achieve that look?

    We stained it a medium brown. The color was mixed by the painter so it is not any one specific color. The tongue and groove is Douglas fir with the v-groove exposed.

    The floor is hickory. It is 3,4,5 inch boards. The stain is a medium brown.

    I really like the hickory floor. The hickory stained really well and looks beautiful.

    Hickory is hard wood and the " stripes" of the natural hickory meld together very well if you go to a medium stain or darker.
