what style is this house

Getting ready to plan a kitchen addition. The house was built in 1996 on 18 acres. Fields on 2 sides and woods behind. We want to stay true to the house as I am hearing a lot about that on these forums. The inside has white trim and doors. 6" baseboards.

What other info do you need to know to classify this?

We have a gas fireplace (stone surround) in the Living room.

The house has no clear style, but even if it did, an addition is generally matched to the house so it appears to be part of the structure and not an obvious add on.

Thanks PPF. The inside is pretty traditional and that’s what I was going for. The outside will be matched to fit with the rest.

Actually the white siding is going away as are the shutters so we hopefully won’t have M. I don’t care if it’s called a farmhouse, just don’t want the trendy “modern” with it.

No. One is taking standing in the front yard straight on (driveway to the left) and the other is standing on the driveway. SE Region of PA. Thanks RES. The addition will be set back on the right looking at the front.

The photos are essentially of the same side of the house. Show us the other sides.
