Clever solution for the pedestal sink storage dilemma - thanks for sharing!

I have a tiny front hall bathroom with pedestal sink as well, and the storage in that part of the house is non-existent. I'm toying with the idea of using baskets with lids for for storing cleaning products and extra toilet paper. Something like this: http://www.worldmarket.com/product/round+janna+baskets+with+lid.do

This bath was barely 5x7 with odd angle to accommodate the stack...went vintage with it and was able to find a 4' claw foot tub.

I found an old umbrella wicker tall basket, put it in the bathroom for the toilet tissue, works perfectly

HI -- I solved my small bathroom storage problem by getting a big and deep two drawer cabinet sink combo from Ikea -- I love it . We also did an edit of bath supplies so now I have nothing out and cluttering . Each family member also has their own supplies carry case that is kept in their room and not stored in and cluttering the bathroom. Perhaps seeing a floor plan of the spaces surrounding the bathroom then maybe there is a way to expand the bath to allow room for a tub .

You can get these shoe holders that go over the door and hang down with pockets to put each shoe in; I've used those to hang low use but needed items so that when the door is closed usually everything is right there at the vanity.

Depending on the size of your shower and the location, you could do something like this. The Japanese love their tiny tubs.

My bathroom is only 5 feet wide and 11 1/2 feet long. I do not know what to do with it. I would love a separate tub and shower but do not think its possible.

Arlysann this is a dead thread from 2013. If you want good advice on your situation post a new dilemma showing several photos of your existing bath plus a sketch of the floor plan with dimensions showing how it fits together.
