I am mentally tapped out building our home and now bring asked what we want for our fireplace surround and mantle. First I thought aged brick but now I am not sure. 9' ceilings, room is 15x17. It's our only living room so not formal. Can anyone provide some direction? firebox comes out 7"...can add max 4 inches or so into the room. Thank you!
