Hi All! We are closing on this house in July and I'm having trouble figuring out what style of house it is. It was built in 1954. Is it a cape? Something else? You can't see it in the picture but it has a chimney off on the right side of the roof.

Also, I think the existing landscaping is great but any further ideas for landscaping or the exterior in general to up the curb appeal? There are a lot of colonials and tudors in the neighborhood, which I LOVE, so I would love to be able to give our house some character.
