Hestan Cooktop??? Do you have one?

I went through and read a couple of the posts...there doesn't seem to be any chatter on these guys. I know they are very new. My top appliance store carries them and they have a range as their demo for cooking classes...evidently the chef that uses it is a big fan, it is not a commercial range.

I need a new cooktop, I was going to go with the 36" Thermador, but I really like the Hestan. I prefer the look, the weight, and most of all that it is significantly more BTUs than the Thermador. I am a high-heat cooker, lots of wok cooking etc.

Does anyone have any experience with this brand?

Wdccruise with incentives the complete Hestan package was more economical...we wanted a Heston Rangetop

I never heard of Hestan until browsing this forum recently. I do not have any experience with them nor does anyone I know.

I spent some time on their website and their appliances are simply beautiful with a lot of nice features. They are very costly, however.

There's not a lot of reviews out there but Appliance Connection has very favorable reviews on their 36 Inch Freestanding Dual Fuel Range: https://www.appliancesconnection.com/hestan-krd365ng.html

You may want to go to a large appliance store and ask for their opinion on Hestan appliances.
