Adding roof to existing porch roof

Home 1 year old & we are adding patio off covered porch but would also like to add roof to existing porch roof on left side of porch, see pics, maybe a gable style roof over that area? Note brick patio will come out about 13 to 14 feet & continue to over side where grill is
