I found some wonderful fabric yesterday

I spent a great 2 1/2 hours browsing through SR Harris Fabric Warehouse yesterday. I wasn't looking for anything special. I just wanted to see what they had. I found two fantastic background fabrics - one blue and one tan - and coordinating fabrics to make a pattern I had just bought the other day. I ended up with 20 yards of brand name fabrics - Andover, Henry Glass, Marcus, Robert Kaufman - for $6.50 per yard. It's the kind of warehouse where you cut your own fabric. They limit the number of shoppers and do many things to make the store as Covid-safe as possible. I felt very comfortable there, although I was really happy to get into my car and take my mask off. Here's my haul, all washed and pressed.

Thanks, Char. I thought the Trailside quilt that Theresa posted recently was so cool that I went on the Marlous Designs website and found two patterns that I ordered. The blue background fabric and the pile on the right will be made into Dream Catcher. The dark brown fabric will be the thin accent color on the outer edge of the log cabins. The other fabrics will be the logs. I like patterns that combine traditional blocks with modern settings. The pile on the left and the tan blender are just for my stash.

Very pretty fabrics and a cool pattern! Sounds like you had a lot of fun. It's good to have a break with something normal.

I have some of the blue background fabric. Love it. THey will look great in that pattern.

Lucky you! You got to get out and shop, and you bought some fab fabrics. Have fun with that pattern, it looks really interesting.
