IMO the siding needs to ba different color and that wall of white needs another window in the center . What is behind that wall? If you want a gable cover over the door that will require roof work The garge door needs to be a little more interesting so somethin in wood with windows would be a good idea You can add a porch and a gable but make sure the gable is in proportion to the house so not too large or too high So maybe something like this I would be interested in styles you like .This could be a nice country cottage look with some really great landscaping.

Great ideas, thank you! I do like the country cottage look and I also like a farmhouse look. I like wooden beams but the size of that porch you pictured is very nice. Behind the white section with the two small windows is the kitchen. I agree with you that another window would look nice. I’m still stumped on colors for the exterior and if I should tear down the brick part at the bottom and replace it with something else.
