Need help with a color choice for cabinets
So I recently changed my backsplash to an ivory glass tile. At the time, I didn’t think I would change my cabinet color but have since changed my mind. now my dilemma is that all of the light colors that I tried out seem to make my backsplash look yellowy or dingy. Please help! Which color would work with this countertop and backsplash? I prefer something lighter to brighten up the kitchen. Here is my kitchen with one coat of primer.

5 years agoI understand what you mean. The tile and counters have more of a beige cream color. What color are you painting your cabinets? Have you thought about painting your cabinets more of a creamy white color?
I bet, once the cabinets are painted it will look just fine.
Can you put under cabinet lighting in? That would definitely add some light to the space.
And is it possible to change your lighting to brightest bulbs imaginable? It is amazing how lighting can change white surfaces (tile too) Here is a great past Houzz post on white cabinets looking yellow and how they fixed them. I know this is not your problem but you can see how lighting can help.

Which white paints have you tried or which white are you planning to use?
or maybe think about an even more beige paint color....
