Why do you not want ceramic on the floor?

That location will provide the biggest impact on the room.

Beverly, we are removing the ceramic tile we have in there now and using Luxury vinyl plank because it’s a lake house and they floors are cold. I wish they did LVP in Hesse type of patterns.
So you would say no to the walls?

Where would these go in the shower? On the floor? I understand that ceramic makes the floors cold. I’m assuming you have nixed radiant heat under the floors so you chose the vinyl.

LVP is now offered in patterns very similar to your inspo tile. It’s waterproof, durable and beautiful. I hate to see you give up on your idea of a patterned floor! So, this may be an option.

Thank you Linda. This is sheet vinyl that I can't bring myself to do. We put LVP tiles in our ensuite reno and love them. I was hoping for tiles but can't find them.

Sorry I didn't realize you planned on vinyl. Sure go ahead with the patterned tile on the wall.

HD doesn't have some decorative vinyl tile but I don't know that this style would work with your home.

@RedRyder I am thinking of the tiles going on the wall in the bath/shower combo. I am hesitant because I don't want to date myself and pattern is trendy now and I love it. But will I love it in a few years?

ohhhhh @hu818472722, I love this idea. I may even put the pattern on both ends and the plain wall at the back. The tile I picked is matte, so I should pick a matte subway tile?

I think the matt would be a softer look and be more subtle than a glossy tile. Millions of whites out there so bring your tile sample with you to color match. I love it when someone else takes a risk to do something unique and it turns out so nice. I would put your pattern on the back wall so it is the focal point, think it might be harder to see on the sides and not have as much impact. Have fun!

That’s the right idea - put it on the side walls or long wall but do what makes you happy. The truth is that in 10 years we will all be subtly updating things we love today. Good tile work doesn’t get “outdated” as quickly IMO. Matte whit Edith those tiles will be great but definitely shop taking one or two of them with you.
