Counter height stools

Where is a good place to order counter height stools? We just remodeled and live in the country so would like something "farmhouse" style.

If you talk to a local designer they will have their own sources for these items. You can get something nice in wood or metal, with plain or upholstered seats, with or without a swivel (and some have a memory swivel, returning to face front after you get off them), in a huge range of finishes and colours. There a many different styles and colors of stools that would fit the description of "farmhouse". What do you have in the room for cabinets, counters, other furniture?

We just bought the black version of this one. I sat in it and liked it very much. We have leather upholstered ones also.

Are both photos your kitchen? Beautiful! If that is your sink area, you have a mix of cabinets, I think stools in that off white would look nice at the island, and a farm table set with wood/off white to match?

I would like to bring some "color" into the kitchen. Thought maybe I could do this through the counter stools. Yes, both pictures are in the kitchen. The cupboards are an antique white and the island is knotty alder. I am having a hard time finding stools online. I saw some tractor seat stools on Plow and Hearth that might work. Any ideas?

If you want to add color these types of stools come in various colors and would work with a farmhouse style. I also think a tractor stool would be nice.
