You could go for the middle ground, and use a slate blue, or just a darker blue-even a light charcoal.

Rather than trying to match it exactly, which may be difficult, you might consider painting it a couple of shades darker so it does not look like a "failed" attempt to match.

When you can't match, contrast I say. So I would recommend painting the wood siding a khaki color and go charcoal for the trim. PS don't paint trim around the garage door a contrasting color. Use the khaki color and khaki for the door.

I would go with a green... Sherman Williams Shade-Grown # 6188. Because of the brown roof I would not go with the blacks or grays

I think a warm cream color would go nicely with the brick then you can turn your attention to the landscaping for colorful plantings.

I'm liking lucindalane's idea of a slate blue, something in that grey-blue range as a cool contrast to the warm orange. Would have to be light, though - don't go too dark. Benjamin Moore's Pale Smoke might work - or similar.

I would paint the garage door 1 shade darker than the siding color. Don't try to use the same color or it will look weird (past mistake!)

And if your front door is paintable, go 2 to 3 shades darker than the siding color. Not sure if that's eavestroughing only along the roofline, or if there's a paintable soffit, but you could paint that in a warm cream, along with front door frame, to make the colors pop.
