Your home is a suburban ranch. I think the home would benefit from a fresh coat of paint, dramatic wood beams on either side of the stairs, fresh landscaping and additional outdoor light fixtures. If you can afford it; consider making the small window on the front MUCH larger. It's current size does not fit the scale of the rest of the wall.

If budget permits, a dormer on top would be beautiful.
