Hi,

In an earlier discussion, I asked if I should take my high end appliances or leave them. Everyone basically said take. After I ran the numbers on replacing them with lower quality (but not builder quality) and the cost of relocating them, it made very little sense to take them.

So now I could use some recommendations as to the biggest bang for the buck in selecting appliances for my new ADU. Here is what I am looking for:

Dishwasher: Quiet with a third rack. I have been thinking of a Bosch 300 or 500. Any other?

Induction Range: A 30 inch induction range with either controls in back, or looking up in front. Due to back issue a unit that has controls that look straight out won’t work. The lowest price one I have seen is the entry level Frigidaire. It was on sale last weekend for $999. Anything else?

Refrigerator: this is a little bit confusing. Wife and I plan on buying a second inexpensive refrigerator or freezer for the garage. We are looking for a 30 or 33-inch refrigerator for inside. We think we want a French door with no external ice but maybe external water. We are also debating between a full size and a counter depth. We think we might be better served with a full size. What do you think? We liked the Samsung and LG models but I am cognizant that everyone I have talked to says DO NOT a Samsung. Is this true for LG? We were also impressed by the GE model. Any others?

Washer Dryer: I will probably buy a new laundry center for $1399, but my architect has found a way to fit a compact washer and compact dryer side by side? I would to get a Miele or Bosch 800 but too much money? What would you suggest.
