I got my Willhite catalog today too but I had already placed and received my seed order last month.

Baker Creek has the nicest catalog. It's more like a magazine! I am always surprised when I get one that they continue to send it. It must cost a fortune to produce.

Got my catalog today. Baker Creek has great pictures, and has some really cool selections. Already ordered some rare carrots, peppers, white Chinese celery, Japanese cucumber, celtuce, even some coleus seeds... got some free purple mizuna seeds.

Just wish they had more growing info, tell you what types are more challenging. A lot of those odd types are not that easy to be successful. Might discourage newer gardeners.

My catalogue arrived in today's mail. Glad to have it.

Robert, I agree about the growing info! I spent a good amount of money for a few seeds that never germinated. When I contacted them they said it had to be in a very warm environment! I keep my house at about 60* during the day due to old single paned windows! On top of the fridge wasn't an option.

Still love their catalogue! And we have a store about 10 miles away!

Nancy, I keep my house at between 60 and 65, and I live in Northern Michigan. I have heat mats that I set my seed trays on for sprouting when I start plants in the spring.

I got my catalog too. Also Territorial, NEseed and Southern Seed, plus some smaller and less impressive publications. I need to go through my seed "stash" and see what or if I need anything, I save a lot of my own seeds and so don't have to buy many.

From what I read on Baker Creek's site, you either get the free catalog, or the paid version....the paid version they describe as having growing info and tips in it.

I've been searching the various catalogs online for specific seeds. I've managed to find them all, but from 5 different growers. Now I'm awaiting their arrival so I can get them started.
