Help the design challenged with selecting roof color, please!

Help! I need some assistance with roof color selection!! In late August, my area in southeast Louisiana was unlucky enough to be in the path of Hurricane Ida. Luckily, I was blessed to have minimal damage compared to others. After 4 months of haggling, my homeowners insurance has agreed to cover the cost of a new roof. Now I need to get a roof color picked to get the repairs started. Unfortunately, I am the poster child for indecisiveness and my design skills are not at Martha Stewart levels. So, I could use some sage advice and help in picking a roof color from those of you who are more aesthetically attuned to the world.

I plan to use Certainteed Landmark or Landmark Pro shingles. I’m considering the following colors including the max def versions of these colors: Moire Black, Weathered Wood, Colonial Slate, and Georgetown Gray. Any input or advice you might offer would be greatly appreciated!!!! I’m attaching a picture of my house with the existing roof and a picture of the brick. I’m also attaching a picture of the Certainteed sample board.

The only color I would stay away from is Moiré Black, not because of the aesthetics, but the added heat gain.

I would go with one that is close to what you have now. Good luck!

I vote for Georgetown Gray. It looks like the one closest to what you have now, maybe a little darker. It's hard to tell because shingles look different once you get them on a roof in full sun.

Your house looked great before , so I agree , go with the one that is as close to that color as possible ! NICE house and good luck !

I’d choose the silver birch. Lighter colors are recommended for our southern climate because they retain less heat than the dark. Good luck

I would go with something similar to what you have. You got it right the first time! What a lovely home!

Your current roof color is great. Go with something similar. You can't go wrong with gray. You have a lovely house. Like this house, your red brick with black and white are a nice combination.

Thanks all for the responses! @houssaon, thanks for the feedback! I definitely have ruled out the Moire Black for the heat concerns you mentioned and also the black appeared flatter/less dimensional on a nearby house I looked at. @Cynthia Sawczyn, thank you for the suggestion of Silver Birch. I like that one too, but my roofer indicated that Silver Birch and Cobblestone Gray weren't available in this area. (There has been a high demand for roofing materials in this area due to Hurricane Ida unfortunately!) @kandrewspa, thank you for the Georgetown Gray suggestion. That was actually my initial first choice when looking at the Certainteed "visualizer" tool online. I keep going back and forth between that one and the Colonial Slate!!! @lkloes and @chloebud, thank you both for the feedback and sweet comments on my home! I believe the current shingles were GAF shingles. My roofer thought they were likely the Weathered Wood color, but he wasn't certain and I can't find any of my paperwork on them. :( That's one reason I was considering Weathered Wood in the Certainteed line. When I look online though, it seems like the Weathered Wood has a good bit of the brown tones in it. Just from what I can tell from the itty bitty samples on the Certainteed sample board, the Colonial Slate has flecks of red in it, the Georgetown Gray has more blue green coloring in it, and the Weathered Wood has a little brown coloring in it. So, I think it comes down to which of those colors do I want to pick up in the roof??!? I think I'm leaning towards Colonial Slate just because it seemed to have some blacks, grays, and red coloring to it, all of which are in my brick colors. From pictures I have searched online, it really is hard to see much difference between those three. I may end up flipping a coin, LOL! Appreciate everyone's feedback. I'll try to remember to post the final outcome although it may be awhile; it took so long to resolve the issues with insurance I am behind many others in line for roofing work!!
