If you are talking about the frefab ones then IMO no real cons I use the prefab steam showers many times for clients I like them better than the ones done on site . The prefab ones with the tub are huge so you will need to check what will actually fit into the space .

No good way to do a 50K shower plus tub inside it, and zero pros.
