Isn't it just a feature of the stone itself? Brown spots pop up in some stones because of oxidation of some minerals. I don't think you can fight the existence of the mineral in the stone itself. That would be a losing battle.

If you brought in some natural wood elements like cutting boards and wood trays, you'll likely not even notice the spots.

Ok, thank you guys. I guess I have to stop losing sleep over it. I chose natural stone and have to deal with it. My kitchen does include natural wood so does living room so wood cutting board on an island and some live branshes will have to surfice :) thank you

I fell in love with the sample of shadow storm. It had this crystallized look with a hint of sparkle and I said to my husband everyone is doing quartz now, I want a different countertop with dimension and variation. So I guess here it is :) I'm sure I'll learn to love it overtime. Nothing in nature is perfect ᾗ0

Truly I like it more with the brown spots. It highlights that it's a natural material and to me that's much more beautiful than "perfect" man made quartz.
