Lower cabinets are light mint but they are going to be white too. Island thinking to do dark blue? Yes light fixture will be changed too.
I am thinking to do white subway tiles as backsplash?

I think subway tiles are a good idea. I'd really encourage you to keep all cabinets the same color. You already have a lot going on in a small-ish space, with the shapes of paneling on cabinets, plus glass-front cabinets, plus angles on island. I think you need to keep it simple. Maybe even do away with a pendant light and put a sconce or fun semi-flush mount light over your sink instead. What are your floors?

What about all blue cabinets?

We like white cabinets. You are right! It’s a small space so should go all white. Do subway style white backsplash too. Add colors some other way!
Floors are off white tile too.

I would avoid white on white on white. So, my vote is for a colored backsplash. I only see one image of tile - it's blue/blue. I think that would look good, but nothing to compare it to (no green like you mentioned). Seems like just the island with blue cabs would look strange, because, at least in the photo, it looks pretty small.

OK, if you do white on white on white, consider adding in some texture/warmth, like a woven shade over your window. Do you like open shelves? You could put some wooden shelves in place of your glass front cabinets.

This kitchen has warmth with wooden shelves, textured barstools, wood floors and brass lighting. Glossy tiles in your kitchen could help bounce light around.

These backsplash tiles might be another option for you. They're still white but have some dimension.

I would keep all of the cabinets the same color & look into a handmade subway. Fireclay has a lot of really pretty colors.

This is the actual tile color … it’s little different from the online picture that I posted earlier. Here you can appreciate the light green color.

My favorites are the first and last, but you'll want to bring several home to coordinate the shades of white in the space.

My rule of thumb is that a backsplash shouldn't be the star of your kitchen but should instead provide a backdrop for your kitchen. Busy tiles are just distracting. I not against some patterning and color but when the backsplash starts to scream, "Look at me!" that is a signal that it's going in the wrong direction. Good luck!

We think the blue might be able to work for you, but going with something white could work better and you'd be able to add blue as an accent color with decor items. We also might suggest updating the light fixture over the island. Is the island big enough to get around and use? It seems like the area could be too small for the island to work well.
