Bathroom Renovation Layout

last modified: 3 years ago

We are renovating our existing powder room to include a shower into it. We have an existing big window and didnt want to move it for the fear of adding external stucco work. So trying to work around the window, created 3 options. Need the expert advice of this group to help weigh in on which one would look aesthetically appealing and doesnt look a half baked job.

Option A: Shower with Glass Paneling on the surround. Pros. Presents a bigger space visually. Cons. One side of the room may look long elongated with the Vanity added. There would be gap between shower and Vanity.

Option B: Build a stucco wall between the shower and Vanity. Pros: Presents 2 different spaces. Cons: May look too tight on a small space.

Option C: Shower with a window in it (obscured). Pro: Seem to be the most common design. Con: Window in a shower may not look appealing and family may fear using it for privacy reasons.

Cost is the same for all the 3 options.

Existing powder room photo for the visual on the window size.

Please recommend which would be more appealing.
