Warped ridge vents... please help.

My plastic ridge vents have been wavy since my roof was installed. The contractor doesn't want to fix it. He said the problem is with the actual structure of the house. The other houses in my neighborhood, built at the same time, by the same builder have new ridge vents that are nice and flat. My roof is easily visible and I feel like the contractor could have done better. Can this be fixed?
