I love Othonna capensis, which seems to thrive in almost any soil and has a brilliant habit hanging over the edge of a container or wall. Are there other species in the Othonna genus that are widely available and have a similar habit? Actually, I would be okay with any plant that has similar vigorous growth over the edge of a container. I have tried all of the "String of" plants, and of those only String of Bananas grows this well, but I do not like the appearance of String of Banana. Othonna capensis is a much nicer looking plant. What are some good contenders here as competition for capensis?
