Dripping from Soffit Close to the Wall

When raining, water drips from center of the red circle. My guess is that water gets behind the siding somewhere above and flows to the red circle area behind the siding and soffit. Is the conjecture reasonable? If yes, how to find the entry point efficiently? Thank you.

There is no wham bam way of finding the entry point,it could be ANYWHERE above including window.

Water test with a garden hose as a start. You will need to block off areas and start spraying only specific spots. May take you days as there could water from most anywhere and possibly only when blowing in from a certain direction. Or you could get lucky and find it in 5 minutes.
