A large cube room. 10' foot would be high for me. It seems the height offers a dramatic visual addition to the experience of using the space. Clerestory windows, beams and shiplap integrating with lower walls and large windows with views. What else are you working with?

Is the room built yet? Can you provide a photo of it?

Or can you wait to get the chandelier? I would have the electrical box installed and wait until the room is finished before you get the chandelier.

Fifty inches is plenty!! You want to check the specs carefully - a google search of your pic indicates Pottery Barn Remington at 41.5 or 50"

I would wait until the space has been drywalled and then mock up some chandelier sizes with cardboard. Cut and tape cardboard to size and then hang with string ... there should be ladders on site to borrow. Or go on a day that you have the GC/subs working and ask them to hang it up. My GC got a kick out of the mock ups I made and was happy to hang stuff up.

Not only size but room finishes and furnishings enter into selecting a chandelier. The one you have selected seems perfect for a very preppy traditional home. Is this the look you're going for? It's a safe choice. 50" max

Personally I'd spend some money on beams for the room.
