I would not change the fireplace. Can the cabinets be moved? I'd move each cabinet to the center of the wall The right cabinet would be under the decoorative wood. . Remove the 3 art pieces from the left wall. Move the upper decorative wood on right side to over the left cabient. Leave the fireplace and paint the cabinets to match the wall.

What about painting the cabinets white like the mantle? It might blend better and seems to go with what you already have (the trim is white and so is the mantle).

THose cabinets make no sense and for sure not with either the pictures ot the shelves Waht exactly are you wanting the cabinets for? They should be each 1/2 again as wide for sure or the pictures and th shelves need to move . Is the ? mark asking if the TV should go there ? If so the answer is no with nothing facing there .
