Please edit your post to clarify: Are you keeping the furniture shown including the green sofa? Or are the sellers taking it all with them?

Have you looked up mid-century modern living rooms on this site? Lots of inspiration photos. Your living/kitchen area is pretty much a blank slate, given the all-white walls and cabinets.

Is this what you had in mind for scandi? I lke the natural textures and pale color palette. The curve of the fireplace hearth looks great with the Eames Lounge chair.

Have you tried a different layout? What if you used stools at the bar, replaced the table with something smaller (round even maybe), and then placed the furniture facing the fireplace. It might be recommend to move the TV to the wall where the green sofa currently is. Below are a few designs we have done.
