Window treatment help type and color

What type of window treatments would go in this room? Ill be getting an L shaped cream sofa.

( the sofa pictured will leave) In that toom I have 3 brown wood window blinds and large patio door.

When I lived there earlier I made a huge cornice box to blend all the windows. ( see last 2 pic)

One of the three blinds hang over the kitchen counter so curtains may be weird there .

i need advice how to address this kitchen counter window area.

in addition, the blank space in the kitchen has a cabinet i have ordered, and now im unsure if I should install it. Advice?

although it would block a bit of the window, I would move the TV to the Window side of the fireplace and spin the sectional facing the windows. sofa centered on the fireplace open to viewing both TV and fireplace.

for blinds... inside mount top down/bottom up for light control and privacy...

I prefer light blinds with light walls, dark blinds with dark wall color.

add cabinet, limit decor, already plenty of visual clutter.

Yes I would add the cabinet..assuming it will be the same finish and custom fit so trim will continue at the ceiling….Windows….if privacy is needed change out the heavy wood slat blinds to fabric roman shades….add rod and light colored drapery panels for patio door.

Your room needs to enhance the visual height of the room. Select drapery panels that picks up the gray/blue in the area rug.

Move the area rug as I illustrate in the layout.
