@kandrewspa I totally agree on the wood trim. We would have loved to redo all the trim in the house to white, however, there is way too much and we didn't want to spend the money for what we have throughout. But, I agree with you. Thank you for the pics. I like what I'm seeing so far.

IMO the bedding was first then the wall color for the accent now you have to find beeding that matches that is backwards . Bedrooms can have many things different than the rest of the home including trim this is a private space and can even be a different style than the other public spaces .Get decent sized lamps too tall enough to be able to read in bed if you like but also just to look right .I love paisley pattern for bedding something like this will make the eye think that blue is in there somewhere .I like it becuase it is not to girlie or mascualine

White linens enhance any space and make the room brighter. Left wall seems off. Curtains can't decide whether they should be a ceiling or just above the opening, so they comprised by hanging half-way to the ceiling. Also, picture is too high.

Do you intend to have lamps on your side tables? I'd select them first, then get decorative pillows, and then consider what else to put on the wall if anything.

Think of your blue wall as a neutral. A blue bedding pattern to match the wall feels really one note. There is no reason you can't go for a pattern with totally different colors that happen to complement blue.

Agree with Louise Smith. White bedding accented with colors on the pillow is what I have. Since I dislike comforter duvets ( too messy looking to me ) I like tailored looking coverlets / quilts in white. Got ours from Restoration Hardware & Crate & Barrel & always buy the pillows from Room & Board, not cheap but good quality, actually have a few that Kendrah suggested, recognized them. 2d & 3d row down.

I start by suggesting that you paint all the walls in the dark colour (shown is a slightly darker colour but look at how the decor is done). You also need to accessorize the room, I don't see any table lamp and I'm presuming by the hanging wire that you have a ceiling fan.

You pretty well have a blank slate. The first thing to consider is your preferred colors and search indigo or grey blue master bedrooms for ideas. The color combos often dictate the feel and based on your taste, note what bedding, lamps and accessories were used.

Given your wall color, carpeting and drapes assume you like warmer tones. Start with the bedding decision and the remaining choices will be easier to figure out.

I would agree with those who point out that painting all four walls is the modern way to to color. as is, it looks like you ran out of money and could only paint one wall.
