Kitchen island pendant help!

last year
last modified: last year

I have to choose island pendants. I am unsure about the number, visual weight and style. I would say my style is japandi-transitional. I have a pretty natural colour palette. The island is 8x4 with the sink in the centre. The stove is behind but not directly lined up. Here are some images of the cabinets-in-production. The uppers are white with a slim shaker and the bottoms are slab with a wood pattern. the countertop will be a white quartz with marble-like grey/brown veining. The floors are a mid-tone grey tile. The handles will be a polished gold and quite minimal, an image of a similar one online is seen here. The layout with the actual stove location in red is seen too. There is just an under-cabinet stainless steel range hood, so no elaborate focal point there.

Questions:

1) I like the look of 3 pendants, but is 2 going to be better to take the focus away from the asymetrical island relative to the stove?

2) Here are some examples of lights I like:

I like the shape and texture but can’t really tell if the colour will look off based on the listing. The attached pic shows a different colour from a reviewer. I find this to be a nice balance of unique but classic.

3) if i dont want to highlight the asymmetry, should i go with a lighter visual weight style? Like a white or a clear style? I only wonder if this would nean the top half of the kitchen will be missing a focal point or some element of interest. I wonder if this will make it look off-balance relative to the darker bottoms?
